By - Editorial Team Inventant EducationFor Grades 3 to 8: A progressive learning series integrating Computational Thinking (CT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Curriculum-Aligned: Based on CBSE’s CT and AI competencies, NEP 2020 and NCF 2023.
Maths-Integrated CT: Develops logical reasoning, pattern recognition and structured problem-solving skills.
Experiential Learning: Encourages exploration through puzzles, real-life situations and engaging activities.
AI Literacy: Introduces AI concepts, everyday applications, data awareness and responsible technology use.
Creative Coding: Offers Scratch-based projects and introductory AI experiences in Grades 3 to 5.
Interdisciplinary Projects: Promotes inquiry, creativity, collaboration and practical application in Grades 6 to 8.
Future-Ready Skills: Strengthens critical thinking, problem-solving, digital awareness and independent learning.
Learning to solve problems begins with curiosity—the desire to ask questions, discover patterns and understand how things work. Computational Thinking (CT) nurtures this curiosity through structured problem-solving, while Artificial Intelligence (AI) introduces learners to technologies that shape the world around them.
Neo Thinker—In Quest of Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence is a series for Grades 3 to 8, aligned with CBSE’s Curricular Goals and Competencies for CT and AI and with the emphasis on experiential learning, critical thinking and interdisciplinary understanding in NEP 2020 and NCF 2023. Each book has three parts.
Part A focuses on Maths aligned Computational Thinking resources, where learners develop logical reasoning and problem-solving skills through questions and activities. In Grades 3 to 5, learners engage with themed warm-ups, puzzles and familiar situations, while Grades 6 to 8 use concept maps to strengthen understanding and connect key ideas. The section builds the habits of breaking problems into smaller parts, recognising patterns, identifying relevant information and planning logical steps, progressing towards systematic analysis and structured problem-solving.
Part B is The World Around Us in Grades 3 to 5, where learners apply CT through observation, comparison, classification and reasoning. In Grades 6 to 8, it is dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, covering key concepts, everyday applications and the role of data, and encouraging learners to examine AI-generated results critically and reflect on privacy, fairness and responsible use.
Part C is the Coding and AI Zone in Grades 3 to 5, where learners create Scratch projects and discover AI in everyday life. For Grades 6 to 8, this part contains Interdisciplinary Projects that apply CT and AI to meaningful problems through inquiry, creativity and collaboration.
Across all six grades, the series aims to nurture learners who think clearly, explore confidently and use technology thoughtfully. We hope each question, activity and project inspires them to look closely at the world, test their ideas and discover new possibilities.
